FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Learning about your child and their individual needs is my first priority. I will keep things light and fun to keep your child interested and engaged, after all learning should be fun! Check out my videos on here to get an example of my light hearted style. We will have a meet and greet where I will learn about what your family's needs are and how I can help you move forward academically. The next step will be to make a plan, then we will meet for one session. From there the next step would be to customize a quote based on your family's needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have always known that I wanted to work with children in some capacity. This love of enrichment led me to my bachelors degree in Child and Family Community Services. From there I went on to complete my Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education. My most recent Master's Degree is in Special Education. I am also licensed to teach Early Childhood Education (Preschool-third grade) and special education ages 5-21.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Most recently I started working with students on a one on one basis and I find it much more effective. Each child has their own individual strengths and abilities and I like to help them learn how to capitalize on those. We explore the areas where they may need some extra assistance in order to be successful and make that part of learning and adventure!
