Jason did our engagement shoot last year and it was amazing! My husband and I had so much fun shooting in the mountains. Neither of us is really comfortable in front of a camera (well, one of us at least) but Jason made us feel so at ease. We ended up getting some of the most romantic and beautiful shots I've ever seen and we will treasure these photos for the rest of our lives! Jason did not rush us. He took his time and made sure we were comfortable and that the poses and shots we did felt authentic and real and not posed, or typical. We absolutely LOVED our shoot! Thank you Jason!Mar 18, 2020
Jason was the photographer for our wedding. He did an amazing job! His ideas were thoughtful and creative. He really worked with us to give us the "shoot" we envisioned. Nothing about our session/time with him was canned. Clearly thought and imagination went into his interpretation of our vision. People actually stood around and watched our shoot, as though it was for some commercial! People asked to take pictures with us! It wasn't just the shoot either, the photo book he put together for us was perfect. Wasn't just random chronological pictures throughout the day. He told a story! Great photographer! I highly recommend Jason!Feb 23, 2020

Jason was absolutely AMAZING! Our wedding was thrown together in 4 days because the original one in NY was canceled due to COVID. He was quick to respond. He promptly answered all of my questions. He was flexible. And his pictures, absolutely stunning!! I would highly recommend Jason to any couple getting married. He got our pictures back to us within 3 weeks. All together, everything was perfect! Thank you Jason!!Jul 16, 2020Verified
Jason is amazing. That’s the best word I can use. He helped me propose to my now fiancé without her knowing a thing, great price, great guy, will keep you updated on everything, very reliable, this is not just some robot review(if those are a thing) he actually did amazing. He took the pictures as we hiked up a mountain side on horses.... no riding experience no problem to Jason he didn’t mind at all. All around he did PERFECT!Jul 13, 2020Verified

We were thrilled to find Jason so last minute - he not only accommodated us, but went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was well-documented and special :) He made beautiful pictures happen with probably the most awkward bride&groom pairing ever - not an easy task! 10/10 would book again. Great value, great work. Thank you Jason and Sarah!Jul 25, 2020Verified
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to get to know my clients before we set out on our journey together. From my perspective, the more I understand a potential client's needs and wants, their vision — their story — the better I am able to capture images and footage that are truly authentic, reflective and meaningful. When choosing a photographer or videographer, it’s important to make sure they are a good fit for you and your family — not only in terms of their photographic and/or videographic style and the quality of their portfolio, but also their personality and work ethic. Some personalities simply don't mesh, and the last thing you want is to spend hours (or days) feeling awkward and constrained because your photographer is unaccommodating, rigid, impersonable, etc. That’s why I prefer to meet potential clients first — or at least have a good video or phone chat — before booking. This initial conversation helps us get to know one another. More importantly, it helps you to determine whether we’ll make the perfect creative team for your project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?My training began in the United States Naval Reserve. While serving in a combat camera unit, I learned the fundamentals of photography, videography, photojournalism and digital design. I am Adobe Certified in Photoshop and Illustrator, as well as a member of Professional Photographers of America.
- What types of customers have you worked with?I have worked with a wide variety of clients: wedding couples, sailors, United States Marines, ballet dancers, baseball players and just about everything in between.
