FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I regularly take courses and read blogs and articles. Just today I took an intro course to Russian Kettlebells even though I am already a certified kettlebell instructor.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
As a teenager I struggled with feeling good enough at anything, so I poured myself into whatever I could find to make myself feel better. I started running at 13, and loved it so much that I ran in college. But what I found was that until I started loving myself and my body regardless of my size, and learned to treat my whole being with respect through healthy and balance food, movement, I would never really be happy. Once I realized how much energy I had wasted feeling bad about myself and started putting more the that energy into what I really wanted instead, I knew I wanted to help other people do the same thing the rest of their lives! Using the body as a way to a great life so you can live from a place of strength is the magic I help others now find.
