Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I am Gretchen Throop Williams, the principal of Dragonfly Design. I began my graphics career in 1996, creating high-end PowerPoint presentations. Actively working in Photoshop since 1996 as well, I have branched out as a graphic designer for everything viewed on the screen. I still travel regularly, creating very high-end presentations intended for the CEOs and executive staff of some of the country's most successful companies and providing on-site graphics support as well. After 16 years of professional education and experience, my abilities in Photoshop, PowerPoint, Keynote, Flash and Illustrator are solidly at master levels. I am also adept at creating graphics in Cinema 4D (3D design and animation), Adobe AfterEffects (video post-production), HTML, JavaScript, CSS, PHP and many other smaller support programs. Currently, I am enjoying implementing my accumulated skills towards a well-rounded business. I am a professional photographer as well, and I enjoy any kind of work in Photoshop. Working with so many great clients over the years, the positive feedback that I most often hear is that I am fast and accurate, highly skilled, that I always find ways to get the job done (no matter how crazy the deadline is), and that I am fun to work with.

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Being a freelancer for 16 years I consider myself a great problem-solver. If there is something that needs to be done on the computer that involves graphic design, I probably know how to do it... and if I don't I will learn! That being said, my bigger clients are usually for the high-end presentation work, and my smaller clients usually have a specific need. Some are other professional graphic designers that need help in areas they are not as strong in, some are companies needing boutique websites. Others have hired me to create and manage projects involving large Flash kiosk presentations.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

My main advice for hiring a graphic designer is to make sure that they are capable of thinking quickly on their feet. Graphic design for screen is a constantly changing field that demands continuous education and updating. Simply put, someone that is not afraid of change and works well with others is probably the beginning of a good relationship. Speed and accuracy are also very important in this business.
