Hi, my name is Beth and I am the founder of It's Just Stuff, a home organizing+move management business. I often say I have that weird gene that wants everything contained. My parents never had to tell me to clean my room ... how many teenagers can claim that? Anyway, I take great pride in my ability to be the extra pair of eyes, ears and hands you need to tackle all of your organizing and executive functioning pain points as well as assist with any packing/unpacking if you are moving. Seriously, I once packed up a 4000 square foot house...by myself...in one day...and, yes there was A LOT TO PACK! Here's the thing...we all have our strengths and weaknesses so if you need your car fixed but you don't know how to even change a flat tire, you go to a repair shop. Or if you need your taxes done and your eyes glaze over thinking about it, you hire an accountant. So it is no different with the decluttering process. Sometimes we just have too much internal clutter to really attack the external clutter or maybe you simply lack the desire for whatever reason. It's ok...no judgement, just a lot of compassion with an occasional sprinkling being somewhat ruthless. Otherwise, what is the point of hiring me? I hope you will...I love what I do and love the end results when I can walk out the door after completing a project and know I, as well as every member of my team, have created a life changing transformation for so many people. Packing and Unpacking

Its Just Stuff were punctual and responsive and flexible. I was working from home when they came to help me pack for a stressful move. They took charge and made it happen with ease. They also helped me with a referral for some movers. I highly recommend Its Just Stuff for packing and organizing!

Home Organizing

We recently moved to the Denver/Boulder area after 25 years living in DC and Hawaii and 21 years married! As you can imagine, we also had that many years of STUFF! It was even more concerning that we had several boxes from previous moves that had never even been unpacked.😫 When I saw Beth’s business name, I knew she was the perfect partner in decluttering! She has been all that I hoped for and better than I could have prayed for. Beth helped us get all of our main boxes opened, sorted, organized and put away in places that actually make sense! She provided us with suggestions for our pantry that ultimately more than doubled the amount of usable space we had available there. She gave suggestions to help us make smart rather than solely emotional decisions about what to keep, what to donate and what to discard that have helped us create a space filled with pieces we cherish, and rid ourselves of the other “stuff.” I don’t even have my before pics, but just know we had more than double the books you see on the shelves in my office now, and Beth helped this book lover only keep the books that we really love and need, and release the remaining books to their next homes!🤎 We really are so very grateful and highly recommend working with Beth for all your organizational needs. You won’t regret it! It really is “just stuff”!

Home Organizing

I had never used a professional organizer. How much expertise could one person have about what to do with all my stuff? I was pleasantly surprised when the owner and her assistant showed up right on time and got to work. They made me feel comfortable by asking me questions about my goals. In a few short minutes, they gave me a quick lesson in decision making about what to keep and what to toss. Thanks ladies for your hard work. In three and a half hours we purged and organized my three storerooms. The process was simple, efficient and pain free. My anxiety I was experiencing about all the clutter is gone! Best decision I ever made concerning my possessions.

This was a great experience! I just moved into a new home which is much smaller than my previous home. I was overwhelmed with all the boxes and Beth came in and got right to work. She’s very good at seeing where things should go and we were able to find the perfect spot for everything that I decided to keep. Thanks again Beth for your help!

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    Pricing is based to some degree on the project but the typical home organizing or move management hourly rate is $70. For any other services (admin support, general errands, petsitting/housesitting, meal prep) please provide specific details when inquiring about It's Just Stuff services to better determine the scope of the project.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    I generally request that we schedule a 30 minute free virtual consult to make sure that your needs match my expertise but also to get more details about the project as well as see if there might be any issues or obstacles especially ones that need to be addressed up front. Most clients find this to be a very comforting way to make sure It's Just Stuff will be a good fit. Sometimes a client just doesn't feel a connection and that's ok...the most important thing is to make sure there is a complete understanding of the goals and budget.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I like to think that most of my education and training for any of the services It's Just Stuff provides is a result of a life of experiences. I have a degree in communications which I do maintain I use each and every day running this business. And I have a great amount of empathy and compassion for any organizing client struggling with executive functioning. Most importantly, I truly do have a natural desire for there to be less chaos and more order in our homes but that requires understanding that the true source is usually a result of internal clutter which then becomes external clutter. My entire life I have just been someone who likes everything in place and contained so it really is a nature vs. nurture thing for me. I am constantly educating myself on the latest information regarding all of the moving parts to being in this profession as well as engaging with other professional organizers literally around the world to discuss trends, challenging situations, etc. Bottom line, I am confident in my abilities and how I connect with clients.
