- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The price that I offer includes the day's coverage and digital files (both the full high res and low resolution images) - the price does not include print images. However, I do offer a print release where you are free to print from wherever you like! Alternatively, I can print through a high quality photo lab and we can talk about products that are available.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Normally, I love to talk with you about what it is that you're looking for from your photo session: capture style, specific poses you prefer, as well as your personality! For couples, I think it's really special when I can capture the uniqueness of your relationship. For individuals, your sassiness shouldn't be dulled down! Once we've covered the stylistic aspects, we can talk logistics. For weddings, I like to meet with you at least once or twice before the big day so I have all the details and you don't have to worry about any legalities afterwards. For all other sessions, we can talk over email or meet beforehand if you have creative ideas in mind that require some preparation. Afterwards, all you have to worry about is receiving the pictures! Typically, weddings require at least 3-4 weeks for editing and all other sessions can expect at least 2 weeks.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Though I am not formally trained in photography, I have been experimenting and growing my photography for the past decade. I've found that throwing yourself into opportunities is where you gain the majority of your experience!
