Oatis did an amazing job at our son's first birthday. His communication before the event was outstanding. He was so great at the event interacting with and getting photos of all guests and he provided so many great photos. He was very affordable. Also, the photos were available so quickly. He even provided a preview gallery so we could post some on social media right after the event. We can't thank Oatis enough for capturing such amazing shots of an amazing day! What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Being a natural light photographer and primarily photographing sessions outdoors, by not having a physical studio I am able to pass on the savings to by clients by offering top quality prints and products at affordable prices. Booking/Session fees for standard sessions like family, engagement, senior portraits is $25, for wedding and commercial events the session fee is $100. This fee is applied to your portrait session.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with new clients I like to have a brief 10-20 minute consult with them over the phone or in person before their session to learn about their specific portrait needs and any special requests they may have.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in the photography industry for the past 20 years and began my training with Skow Photography, a commercial school portrait company. During this time, the good old day of film, I learn the skill and techniques of studio lighting and shortly after practiced natural light once I began doing outdoor sessions for sports.
