- What types of customers have you worked with?
The majority of our work consists of shooting destination weddings throughout the USA and Europe. We are based in Denver, CO and have a seasonal studio in Zaandam, The Netherlands.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
In regards to destination weddings, my best advice is to hire a professional photographer that is NOT a local photographer. Having a photographer flown in is so important... Why? Well, think about the most amazing vacation ever, think of how visually amazed you were at all the new sights! Now imagine your local community and all the things you are now taking for granted or are no longer seeing the beauty within. By hiring a photographer from out-of-state, they arrive and are excited to see new visually interesting sights, they well provide worlds better views of the same, potentially mundane, scenes within your local community or island getaway. The destination photographer arrives and is visually excited due to all the new and uncharted scenes/details. This is what you as a client should be after, a fresh take on what has now become "the norm" for all the local photographers. Trust me, its boring to shoot in the same location a million times!! Even if you're the best, most legendary photographer in the world, you will find it hard to find inspiration in an over used location, one that you have visited far to many times.
