I attended the veggie-slaws class. It was a one-hour session. The dishes were simple enough to make at home on my own, healthy and tasty! Pam's teaching method is hands-on, but not overwhelming. She teaches you how to make the dish and supplies you with a manual to take home! As she is a nutritionist, she informed me of the health benefits of the dishes we made. Pam is very personable. Although you are in a complete stranger's home, you don't feel awkward or uncomfortable. I had a fun, informative time!
Not only did I have the pleasure of working with Chef Dole in a classroom setting, from which I learned a lot, I also had the fortune of having him as my nutritionist after I had my daughter. He is very knowledgeable and well versed in many aspects as well as personable and helped me reach my goal of graduating as well as my weight loss. Sara has been my main nutritionist for the past few years. After years of suffering from chronic migraine headaches, I finally took her advice to focus on the gut/brain relationship. Upon her advice, I gave up gluten and sugar and as a result gave up all my migraine medications. She realized that my gastrointestinal problems were directly related to the headaches. She knew this complete change in diet would be very difficult for me since I was basically a sugarholic!
