- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The rate for architectural services varies depending upon what is required by the client. The cost of services can be as simple as a per hour rate, with or without a "not-to-exceed" amount, a percentage of construction costs or a negotiated, flat fee.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The very first thing I do to start a new project is listen to the client. My success is based on my ability to transform the ideas, needs and desires of the client into a real space that functions superbly for them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My profession requires a considerable amount of continuing education in order to maintain an active license. I average 15 - 18 CE hours per year with a focus on building codes and green building practices. I am also a LEED Accredited Professional with a specialty in New Buiding Construction.
