- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge flat rates on standard maintenance services for gas and wood fireplaces. Repairs will typically be billed at a range as the labor involved with a repair can vary based on several factors. We do a 10% labor discount for first responders and active/former military.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The typical process of setting up a new customer appointment is gathering the standard information needed, getting a description of the issues with the appliance, asking some follow up information to get more clarification on what may be needed, and then finding a time that works for your schedule to get on site.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In our industry, the main way to pursue a legitimate higher level of education is through the National Fireplace Institute (NFI) and Chimney Safety Institute of America (CSIA). We hold a total nine certifications through these companies, including the NFI Master Hearth Professional Certification.
