- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I regularly take yoga classes, work shops, read trade magazines like Yoga Journal, and rent and buy yoga books.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up a yogi. My mother took me on yoga retreats when I was a toddler, and I never stopped doing yoga after that. I didn't decide to take a teacher training until I was 25, and I was looking for a more joyful path than I was previously on. Yoga steered me in the right direction, and I see it as a gift that I can give to others to maybe help transform their lives as well.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I love teaching beginner students. There are so many aspects to yoga, one could spend a week just learning one yoga pose. It is deeply gratifying to explore yoga through the eyes of a beginner student, and help them (re)discover the connection in the body, mind, and soul.
