FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
As far as pricing goes I feel like I keep my prices at a very competitive industry standard when it comes to doing more intricate work or any kind of custom jobs the price definitely is reflected with that. I have a vast experience so I'm able to get the job done in a quicker amount of time which can save customers money.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
first I go out to the customer's home and meet with them and try to get an idea of exactly what they are looking to renovate and then within a day or so they will get an estimate on the cost of the job that they're looking to have done and then we will go from there as to when they're availability is and mine to work out a time where we can get the job started and I will give them a timeline of when it will be finished. I normally ask for 40 to 50 percent of the cost of the job up front depending on the cost of materials and then I do not ask for the rest of payment until the customer is satisfied in the job is complete.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My Father owned a cabinet making company as I was growing up so before I turned 16 I was an intern in his business learning how to put together build and create and stain cabinetry. Building and installing complete cabinets with him, since then I have found that I really enjoy tile work and flooring, woodwork and especially custom projects. I have water damage and mold certification and asbestos awareness classes that have taken.
