- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do have a basic square foot price for basements, which I have summarized from years of experience. I can do a standard basement finish, with all standard amenities for $20-$30 a square foot, depending on the layout, accessibility, and other anomalies. most other projects I have to employ what's referred to as a Bottom Up Budgeting approach.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initial Mtg to survey and take in information, I will usually give a projected range for the cost of the project. If the customers are serious, I will usually will follow up with another meeting to display plans and construction docs, with a more precise budget and estimated time of completion.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have passed the (ICC) International Code Council's F-12 National Standard Commercial Builders Exam (B2), which means I am authorized to build anything up to a High Rise Building up to 5 Floors. I hold three different degrees in: Architecture, Construction Management, and Product Representation. I also have 4 Upgrade Certifications for CAD Professional, Construction Professional, Basic CAD, and Intermediate CAD. I also have an OSHA 30 Hr Certification
