I have worked with Thumbtack for over a decade and started a nonprofit music educational foundation registered in Colorado in 2017. I do live/multimedia performances in Senior Centers, Homeless Shelter, Hospices and some other strange places as well.
I love teaching music so much and I have learned so much from my 80+ students. It is my calling. My lessons will inspire us both to become better musicians, freer people and help ignite the Fires of Creativity and Self Expression deep within. I guarantee I can teach you to learn to form and change chords quickly. cleanly and faster than anyone I know by a method I developed based on neuro-physics that makes it a breeze.
My students generally are not trying to become rockstars. They are beginners of any age seeking to be part of this Magical journey. I make it easy and help you avoid the mistakes I encountered over 62 years of study.
I focus initially on rhythm which is barely understood by most but can be learned with patience. I do “Rhythm Workshops For Kids” that are a blast and help many to find a means of expression without any formal musical training. “Shaker Eggs”; hand percussion instruments the size of an egg; (like maracas) have many nuances of sound. I have a collection of over 100 eggs donated by Sweetwater Sound and when I perform at events the audience each gets an “egg” and becomes my rhythm section. The events are video recorded.
I have worked with students from 6-65. One was accepted at the amazing Berklee College of Music in Boston; probably the best place to study non-classical music.
My method will take you to the next level of ability will transform you in ways you cannot believe.

My students must demonstrate dedication and devotion. I allow 2 months of lessons then students are re-evaluated and we proceed from there. I specialize in quickly analyzing where to begin with beginner-medium level students and what skills need attention. I relate well with my students because they know I care and my lessons often become counseling sessions.

I’m a retired Commonwealth’s Attorney for Pennsylvania though I still love teaching, However I’m very busy but will never turn down someone seeking the existential joy of connecting with others through performing live.
