Introduction: Hello there, We have 2 profiles going on here. We do handyman services, and affordable / reasonable smarthome automation services alike. Check out the pictures bellow, you'll see a bit of both. I've spent the last 7 years installing security and smart home systems for ADT dealers. During this time, I have realized that my true passion is with home automation. By the end of 2019 I decided to create my own company, called ControlMate, that provides smart home solutions for clients on a reasonable level of automation without breaking the bank. We focus on 5 major elements: - Locks - Lights - Thermostats - Cameras - WiFi network Naturally there are more segments of this field that we can work with. We work with Homeowners, Renters, Airbnb owners, and Builders. The benefits are that you own your own system, you have no mandatory monthly fees, while your system is tailored to your specific needs. At ControlMate we take the time to listen and build an easy to operate system. We have already done the research, and we know what products will produce the desired results.

When we found out that we are expecting a baby, we knew we had to get ready. One of my friends told me about their home automation system and how much it helped their daily routine. She gave me the number for Controlmate. I gave them a call and set up an appointment for consultation. The owner of the company came by and I told him that I had no idea about this technology. He asked me a few questions about our lifestyle and expectations, and soon gave me a good picture of their services and emphasized the things I was most interested in. We took the option for the door lock, the video doorbell, and a light for the baby room. After the install they made sure that we fully understood how to use it and gave us options for future upgrades. Special thanks for Tamas the owner, he is truly knowledgeable. A couple weeks after the install we received a phone call and offered support on the system if we needed a recap. Thank you for the great job, I recommend it to everyone.

He was very knowledgable on other aspects of security systems not just what he was installing. He worked with us to ensure we got just what we wanted in a system. He was right on time and cleaned up after himself and put everything back he may have moved during the installation. He gave us after installation help and was willing to come back over if I had any questions at all to be sure I understood the system and it's function perfectly.

I am a nurse and I spend a lot of time away from home. When I get home, I am usually exhausted and sometimes I forgot to close the garage door, or just go to bed without turning the lights off in my home. I knew I needed a solution, so I went to Best Buy to get something like Alexa. I knew it was going to be a rollercoaster, but did not know how many different gadgets were out there. Nobody could help me figure out what would work with what. I told myself I’ll let the geek squad help me out, but that is complicated, and time consuming. I did a little web search for a local company and I found Controlmate. I made the right decision, after I called Controlmate and told him what my problem was, he offered to come by and help me with my home issues. They did an amazing job I am incredibly happy. Now my house is smart, and it was way more affordable than I was expecting. I’m glad I listened to my self and did not try to DIY this myself. Thank you Controlmate.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First step is to talk about your expectations. Our highly trained team members are going to ask you some questions to discover your wants and needs. We promise to take time to listen to your expectations, so don’t be shy! We will then offer you some possible solutions for your home based on your feedback. After determining the chosen home automation components, we will work together with you to design a complete system. then ask you to approve the design. After reaching agreement we sign the contract and collect partial payment also discuss on installing date and time. Next step is install. At this time our team member will install the system and will connect all devices to ensure its working together seamlessly. After we finish installing your complete system, we make sure that you understand how to use all the new features of your home effectively. This is usually the big WOW moment when suddenly everything comes together, and you ask yourself, “How did I live without this until now?!” Just because the complete system is designed and installed, and you have been educated on how to use all the new features of your home effectively, doesn’t mean that you won’t potentially need our help. We are always going to be available in case you need a refresher or would like to add additional components to your home system.
