We have owned a flooring business for 28yrs in the Colorado Springs area and can provide every type of flooring including carpet, vinyl, tile, hardwood and LVP for both commercial and residential settings. Our prices are well below retail and our installations are impeccable.

This designer is thief and incompetent. She does not communicate well. She would say she would be coming and then no show on multiple occasions. My gf or I would have to stay at home all day waiting for her and she would never show and then not answer any phone calls or text msgs. I dealt with her for 6 mos like this as she never completed the job and it was a constant back and forth and tons of excuses. When she would come by only one or two items were put up and then I would have to follow up every week asking when she will be returning only to find out there were furniture delays or some personal problem. She would pick replacements on her own and would just bring pictures or accents that I never saw. I paid $22,000 for furniture selection and decorating. I was quoted the job would be done in 2 mos and it was never completed in 6 mos about 7 items were never delivered and several items were dropped off damaged then she would blame my cats for the damage even though I would tell her the same day and send pictures. Look at the pics below do those dents look like a cat did that? The invoices never showed prices just a total and no contract or policy if an item is completely uncomfortable or damaged.
She brought couches that should have been for 3 year olds. They were small and super stiff. Very uncomfortable then she became angry when I asked for a refund. I located my own couches b/c the one replacement she offered had a very cheap texture and would not be good for cats. She ended up replacing it with a dining table I picked out and never responded to me about the price difference. One of the lamps she dropped off doesn’t turn on. It was a constant battle with her and I honestly did not have any time for it as I am a nonprofit executive director and very busy. I ended up having to send her a demand letter with a warning that I would be suing if the job wasn’t completed and for the missing items. She finally emailed me nasty responses after 6 weeks of no contact prior to the demand letter, ran to my house, opened my garage when I wasn’t home, dropped some curtains off and $1000 check for the remaining missing items. In the demand letter I asked her to pay $1,600 even though it didn’t account for all the time I spent dealing with her. I also advised specifically not to come to my house and drop the check off or missing items at my office. But she did exactly what I told her not to do. So I didn’t get what was in the demand letter. Carrie was extremely unprofessional, egotistical, and incompetent. Moral of the story, don’t ever pay her or anyone up front. Wait until the job is done I was tied to this mess b/c I paid upfront and was forced to deal with her. I also recommend requesting a contract that stipulates what she does in the event of a broken item, replacement items, and items that are uncomfortable. Request itemized invoices with prices for each item not just a total at the bottom. Do not let her rush you! As she rushed my to write a $22k check so she could order furniture quickly and make a deadline that she never made.

Christine we are very sorry that you chose to write this inaccurate and dishonest review after we tried multiple times to resolve your issues. First I think its important to note you were not "rushed or pushed" to hire us, we completed previous work for you with absolutely no issues so you reached out for us to do some work in your new home. We provided SEVERAL design boards (which you approved of) prior to ordering any materials. Once those materials arrived and were installed you then decided to pick and choose what you liked or didn't like, the said couch that was purchased and delivered was a VERY high end couch with a ton of GREAT reviews. And although you had the couch for 1 night and two days with kittens scratching it, laying on it, peeing on it we still took it back and aloud you to choose another item in place of it even though we could not return it. We ended up eating a difference of over $600, and that didn't include the labor and time to disassemble it and pick it back up. We also provided SEVERAL items you wanted/agreed to not on the original inventory list in place of items you decided AFTER we received approval on them that you just didn't want them. Your claim that you or Destiny had to "sit around and wait" for us is also untrue as you gave us your garage code and access to the home from day one. Unfortunately I have several unanswered texts and emails during the duration of this transaction, which we would've had no issues completing in a timely matter had their not been so many changes and returns, we communicated when we had a immediate family member pass away and had hoped you'd be understanding as a licensed therapist. I apologized for that delay, and I communicated the shipping delays which are NOT in our control. The "demand" that you emailed only came after I reached out via email after no phone response from you and it took you a WEEK to respond to my email. As you know in my email I was reaching out to try to schedule installation of the remaining items (again a change of white drapes to your choice of teal at my cost) and in the email I indicated if I didn't hear back from you within 24hrs I would just drop the curtains (we already installed the hardware) and a check for the items we did not complete. The reason I decided to just give you a refund for the accent wall that you wanted in a abstract wallpaper, is because of your constant indecisiveness. The wallpaper is a custom made to order full size one sheet (9'X14') that couldn't be returned, we also asked that you have your TV and TV mount that that wallpaper was supposed to go on, removed by a professional, so we could install the wallpaper. That was never done. We are sorry you are unhappy with our services the second time around, but I ask that you are more fourth coming and accurately state how this transaction transpired. The end result is you DID get your materials and installation AND compensation for the incomplete item (which again you CLEARLY agreed to in our email correspondence) We bent over backwards to appease you and your requests, I have MULTIPLE texts from Destiny (your GF) apologizing for the way you acted and treated us. I have documented EVERYTHING, we always strive to go over and beyond, I've NEVER received ANY bad reviews or feedback of any kind until today.
