About
For over 13 years in interior design, I’ve treated every client the way I’d want to be treated if I were hiring a professional. My clients appreciate that I’m honest about what will work—and what won’t—for their space. I’m completely transparent about my fees, with no hidden costs.
I listen closely to your needs and consider every detail: design style, life stage, and budget. Each consultation is an invitation into a personal space, and I never take that lightly. It’s a privilege to use my expertise to help you create a home that feels both beautiful and truly your own.
If you’re ready to explore what your space can become, I’d love to talk.

I found Cynthia through this site and am happy I did! She helped me comb through SO many websites to find the perfect furnishings to complete the "look" I was after. Through patience and with a sense of humor, Cynthia guided me in creating a home that not only looks good but is comfortable, too. I also found her to be budget-smart, which is always a plus!

Working with Cynthia Lee of Madison Design was a pleasure from the beginning to completion of our project. Our home was in desperate need of updates to prepare for listing to sell.
The main project scope was to update our original 1953 kitchen and guest bath. With the budget we had allocated we were able to accomplish not only these project but also some minor updates to the master bath and painting of the entire interior of the house. Still within our budget, Cynthia was able to help us to obtain several new items for updating and staging. Ever so thoughtful, once the project had completed Cynthia even showed up to insure the staging of our home was perfect when the Realtor's photographer was here.
Cynthia's contractor was very professional, the workers courteous and pleasant to be around as we remained in the home during the process of construction. They cleaned debris and their work areas at the end of every day.
I highly recommend Madison Design and Cynthia Lee.

Cynthia is great to work with. She started my project by talking in depth with me about what my tastes are to get a real sense of what you was looking for in my bathroom remodel. Then she really did her research in order to present me with possible tile, flooring and faucets to choose from. She really help make a daunting project easy and fast. She also stepped in and helped me find a counter top fabricator when my contractor failed to. That was above and beyond what she was hired to do.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I work on an hourly basis, and charge a flat hourly fee.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will begin the process by setting up a brief phone conversation. This enables me to gain a better idea of what the project entails. If the client would like to move forward, we will set up an in-person consultation at the residence or business. Going onsite is always beneficial so that I can see the space and begin creating concepts. Once the client decides to hire me as their designer, a contract is signed by both parties. A deposit is required to secure a project time frame on my calendar. After that, the client and I begin to exchange thoughts, ideas, concept photos, etc. I strive to do my very best to create an inviting and aesthetically pleasing visual space, so that the client can be relieved from the driving, price comparisons, placing orders/returns, and shopping.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied at IDI (Interior Designers' Institute) in Newport Beach, CA. I love attending design events on a regular basis to stay familiar with what is current, as well as search for new inspiration. I am always researching online and scoping retail boutiques to broaden my range of options. I also love to collaborate with other designers', artists', and fellow colleagues that are creative and draw inspiration.
