- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Murals are priced based on the square footage of the painted area and the amount of detail in the design. I do require a design deposit if I am asked to create design, this does include sketches. The deposit is rolled into total project price if I'm hired.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Discuss about project details i.e dimensions of wall, design details, client's budget, location... 2. Pay design deposit (if applicable) for me to create the concept art. 3. If hired, client signs contract that sets the deadline and 50%-50% payment plan. Design deposit is rolled into total price. 4. The first day I show up on site, before work, the first half of price is paid. 5. The day I complete the mural, the last half is paid. 6. All done!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been drawing non-stop since I could hold a pencil. I took painting and drawing fundamental classes at Colorado State University. Then I started my business immediately after at 21.
