Introduction: I'm originally from Argentina and I have been teaching Spanish and English for more than 17 years, I have live also in Mexico for several years and I traveled all over "Latino America". I believe It's essential to learn Spanish from a native speaker teacher, I have been in the United States for a long time and English is my second language. I am a Certified Spanish Tutor. My primary goal is to provide the highest-quality language to my learners in a fun, nurturing, and culturally-rich environment. All the instruction is given in Spanish, Once the class begins, I'll speak mostly in Spanish, this will force you to learn through listening and speaking, of course, I'll explain in English some of the more difficult concepts. Essentially you will discover the meanings of words and phrases in the context of real-life situations and not just by translation. Practice is the key to learning Spanish for that reason you will practice your conversation skills as often as possible. This will allow you to eventually "think" in Spanish. When you can do this, you will know that you're really learning. My students' ages vary. I have taught beginners (as young as age 8) as well as adults who work with corporations sending managers, directors, and senior executives that travel to Spanish speaking countries, and also with government employees that for different reasons needed to learn Spanish. I have successfully taught adults to comfortably speak conversational and professional Spanish. I also work with business executives as an interpreter. Level taught: beginner, intermediate, advance and corporate. I design my lessons to varying students' goals. I can help with accent correction, pronunciation and fluidity, some slang if you need it. I also teach grammar, vocabulary, assist with readings, writings, translations and interpretations. I find this approach works for varying situations, and I utilize differentiated instruction. Everyone learns at a different pace. My goal is to challenge you and make you comfortable as I present the material in a way that you'll find it interesting as you grasp the language. I hope you will understand Spanish, feel comfortable in using it in the classroom, casual business interaction, or in general conversation if you are planning a pleasure or business trip to "Latino America" or Spain. I am flexible with hours, days and locations. We can meet in a coffee shop or at your place if it's in a convenient area. I am also available to teach classes remotely and online. I can also help you to compare United States with the "Spanish speaking world" and establish linguistic and cultural bridges between United States and Spanish speaking countries.

Gabriel is a native Spanish speaker with an educational background and experience. He is an excellent instructor that is fun loving, patient, knowledgeable and prompt. I enjoy our virtual lessons and his flexibility when i need to reschedule. I have learned far more with Gabriel than I ever learned in school. Highly recommended.

I don’t typically leave reviews unless things are exceptionally bad or exceptionally good. Gabe is such a kind and terrific teacher and is well deserving of rave reviews. I have been taking Spanish lessons from him for just over one year and have made more progress learning the language than I did with three years of study in high school and some classes in college. In addition to being a great teacher he is also exceptionally patient and easy going. My own schedule is quite difficult and variable but Gabe always works with me to squeeze our classes in. I was referred to him by a friend and would pass along this referral to anybody I know who wants to learn to speak Spanish.

Gabriel is a wonderful Spanish teacher. My Spanish speaking, writing and reading have improved tremendously since our classes began. He is patient and friendly and adapts his teaching to accommodate my learning style. I genuinely enjoy our classes and look forward to each lesson. I highly recommend working with Gabriel whether you are a beginner like me or just wanting to brush up on your Spanish.

Gabriel is an excellent Spanish educator. I've been working with him for 2 years now. He has moved me from an intermediate Spanish speaker to advanced level. Conversations with him are interesting, his explanations are extremely clear, and he puts a lot of time into coming up with good (and novel) explanations of a concept. If you've struggled to understand subjunctive, preterite | imperfect, or other difficult Spanish concepts, Gabriel has brilliant tools to make them clearer and to make it so you remember them. The only hesitation I have about leaving a good review is that I don't want you to take him away from me ;)

The price includes the class, and the preparation for the class, as it's individualized to you and your skill level.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I start by listening to their requests, their interests and the goals they want to reach with the classes and starting from there I tailor a study program that fits them. I plan ahead the topics of all my lessons so that the students are able to follow a growing path that give them the right amount of knowledge and skills during each lesson

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a degree on Journalism and Communication from Argentina I'm also a COMMUNITY INTERPRETER English/Spanish so I'm constantly working on both languages in a high speed environment makes me a better tutor.
