- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Why are we so affordable? We get questions like this all of the time, especially when it comes to weddings. People typically expect to have to pay high prices when it comes to media production. While great quality media production does take time and expertise, it isn't a license to extort. At jbCM we're in business for the long haul. We prioritize creating long term, professional relationships with our clients over short term gains. Photography and video production are just two of the services we provide and we price them just like everything else we do ... determine the cost to perform a service (resources, payroll, time, travel, equipment, etc) and compute necessary profit for continued company growth - pretty simple. Services providers have gotten in the habit of charging way more for weddings because of the significance of the day and our society has accepted it. We think there's a different way to go: quality media production that doesn't break the bank. Give us a call and let us see what we can do for you. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a you, as a new customer communication, both ways, is key. We happily answer your questions in person, via phone or over email. We value your input and we will do our best to satisfy your specific requirements.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I apprenticed with a photographer when I was 18 for a full year. That gave me a solid foundation in the field and I started my own business at 19. After serving in the Air Force and teaching at the United States Air Force Academy, I got back into photography/video and retrained myself into the digital age via online courses (Lynda.com/LinkedIn Learning), self training and seminars. In addition to being a photo and video pro, I'm highly capable with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, InDesign) I'm also an FAA Certified Drone Pilot.
