When one of my Andersen windows sash quit working on one side (!) I couldnt close my window after cleaning it. I was fortunate to find Lightning Glassworks, who actually fixes other companies windows!! It took many phone calls to other companies whose policies didnt allow them to do that. So I was happy to find out that Lightning DOES do that. Someone came out to look it over and give me an estimate and was kind enough to rearrange the top and bottom sections to keep the majority of cold winter air out. Waiting for manufacturer parts was the worst of the repair, but was no fault of Lightning. The appointment was kept in the 3 hour window and it was fixed in a reasonable time. The technician, Brody, even cleaned my new window inside and out. The window works better than it has in quite awhile, and I saved money on replacement! If I have another Andersen or other brand of window break, Ill go ahead and get replacement quotes from Lightning also because they gave very good service."See more
