I received several messages from different pros and I choose this one since they were the first to contacted me. Even thought, they knew my garbage disposal was leaking, they gave me the price on the spot which was $500 to replace a garbage disposal. Which sincerely is two screws and that is it, I ended up going to Home Depot and buying a new disposal and installed it in less than 5 min. I don’t understand how these people could expect a $500 payment for such a simple project. All other pros were charging me $200 which I was willing to pay for the comfort of not doing it myself but come on, $500?

Good morning Jorge. I'm sorry that you were not happy with the estimated price of our services. All of our services include as you were told the labor, and materials and a ONE YEAR WARRANTY on both. You were also given an estimated discount on a Senior and Military which was lower price. The other thing is our disposal is not a Badger. If it was I could just swap it out with another one. The price would have been cheaper. I would have to replace the entire mounting bracket to secure the new disposal which takes time. As a business owner I know your time is valuable and that is why I carry everything on the truck to assure that your time is not wasted and the job is done correctly the first time. Our warranty covers our labor and materials. If there is an issue with the disposal you got from Home Depot there not going to send someone out to fix it or replace it. They will ask you to remove it and bring it back in while your sink has an open hole. Please remember you will only get a 90 day warranty on there items. Not a One Year Warranty. Thank you. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Plumb Rite charges an inspection fee. This fee is to determine the best repair and give an accurate price for the services that are needed. ( We will WAIVE the fee if you accept our options for repair or replacement. ) We use the Flat Rate Pricing System. Our quoted pricing includes Labor Hours, Materials that is calculated into the price of the repair or service. If we go over on the job in time that was estimated on our quote, We Do Not Charge Extra. We offer a Senior and Military discounts to our customers.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
As a business owner, its my responsibility to listen to my customers concerns and help guide them in the repair process. As a business we must have the integrity and take the extra effort to make sure our customers are satisfied with our Services and Products.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started working for a Professional Plumbing Company in 2009. In the 9 years I learned Commercial and Residential Plumbing Services. I also learned Customer Service Skills, Trouble Shooting, Plumbing Systems and Sprinkler Systems. Drain Cleaning and Sprinkler System maintenance and repair.
