Pro Book Editor, a.k.a. The Writing Doctor

Introduction: I offer all levels of editing, on projects of all lengths. I do proofreading, copy editing, manuscript evaluations and critiques, content editing, computer line editing, comprehensive full editing, substantive editing, and full development to publication. Projects include all business materials, academic papers and dissertations, novels, memoirs, and nonfiction books. Editing on computer or paper: individual projects freelance, part-time contract work temporarily both remote and on-site. My 46 years of professional editing includes 21 years of editing client novels, memoirs, and nonfiction books. To date, I have comprehensively edited 147 books (full-line edit), developed or polished eight to publication, and content edited 30 in overview assessments (of which 17 were subcontracted for a NYC literary agent in the last year). I have edited 85 novels, 57 memoirs, 37 nonfiction/business books, and 59 spirituality. I also have six screenplays, 56 short stories, 33 dissertations and over 800 research papers, articles, manuals, workbooks, reports, and small projects.
