- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently working on my certification with AIPB (american institute of professional bookkeepers) which I plan to complete in 2014.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started working for a construction company and gaining bookkeeping experience when I was 19. I was trained by a local accounting firm to provide in-house bookkeeping. In the following years, my collections efforts had exceeded the expectations of my employers and helped to maximize cash flow. The years spent in these specialized positions helped power my integration from employee to self-employed, and from in-house to virtual.
