Jessie did an amazing job on my maternity pictures! I loved every single one. As a first time mom this was important to me to capture the memory. Jessie was great at responding, very reasonably priced and super flexible for the location and date!

Jessie did an amazing job capturing our wedding day! I also loved the boudoir shoot beforehand, it was very comfortable and I was so surprised by how beautiful the photos turned out!! I appreciated the communication every step of the way. I didn't have to worry at all during our wedding day, and she was very flexible, and I was her only event for the day which I really appreciated. Photos turned out great and so did the wedding book! What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I want to work within my clients’ budgets as best I can, and build my pricing packages based on the details and needs of each client. I offer discounts to repeat clients, including clients who wish to combine packages (engagement + wedding for example).
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always like to start by grabbing a cup of coffee somewhere so that I can get to know my clients in a stress-free/neutral environment. This allows us to create a connection so that the first time we interact is face-to-face rather than with a camera lens between us.
I always bring samples of my photos in photobooks if clients are interested in seeing those, but my goal in meeting for coffee is simply to connect and make sure that clients are comfortable with me as their photographer.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always enjoyed the art of photography, and in 2011 two of my closest friends asked me to shoot their engagement photos. I was hesitant at first, but when they saw the results of those, they asked me to take their wedding photos as well. That's when I really began crafting my brand and purchasing photo equipment to help aid in that process.
