Introduction: My work stands out because I truly love what I do and I feel lucky that I can turn my passion into a profession. I also understand what this day means to the bride and groom, as well as their families, and when I am working it is not just another wedding to me. Each time I try to capture the unique personalities of the bride and groom and can adjust my style to suit them. I am a real people person. I love interacting with all different types of people and I also love the chance to be creative.

Mike was fabulous. He was on time, his setup and equipment were great, and he played all the songs we asked for. His photo booth was a big hit. Well worth the money. Would definitely recommend him for any big event and would use him again in a heartbeat!

We couldn't have imagined a better DJ than Mike for our daughter's large wedding this past weekend! Not only did he seamlessly manage the challenging venue (ceremony, then reception in completely different areas of the venue), he provided a beautiful musical backdrop for set up, and guest arrival, as well as ceremony music that was flawless. (He even helped with gathering people for photos!) Mike did a perfect job throughout the reception, 'reading' the crowd and being sensitive to timing of all of the speeches etc, as well as creating a fun dance floor with his selection of music (as per our daughter and son in law's musical preferences). Thank you Mike!!

Details: Wedding • 200 - 250 guests • 51 or older • 31 - 50 years old • 18 - 30 years old • Pop • Country • Top 40 • 80s • Banquet hall or ballroom • MC services

We had Mike as our DJ for our wedding recently. He was amazing and so much fun!! Throughout the process, Mike was responsive to us and our needs. On our wedding day, I was amazed at how quickly he moved from the ceremony to reception to play music and his ability to just fit right into the event and guests there! He got everyone out on the dance floor at the beginning of the reception, bringing amazing energy to the celebration. We also got the photo booth which Mike’s wife operated. That is definitely a must!! It was a complete hit and Mike created an awesome label to put on the photo booth pictures. I could not have asked for a better DJ to be a part of our wedding!! Thank you, Mike, and thank you to his wife as well!! Highly recommend Creative Exposures to be a part of your event.

Details: Wedding • 50 - 99 guests • 31 - 50 years old • 51 or older • Pop • R&B / soul • Top 40 • Country • Oldies • Rock • Funk / disco • 80s • Barn

Mike cooper was amazing! Super responsive and the selection of probs was unparalleled! I love that he worked with me on a custom design (a sketch I had drawn of our venue, which matches our thank you notes) and he was super responsive, even in the thick of wedding season when he’s probably crazy busy! I last minute hired him a week before our wedding!!!! And he’s just a really flexible, nice guy! I also liked that the photo booth was enclosed, it’s just a nice touch!

Details: Wedding • Indoors • Camera with backdrop • Digital (online gallery, etc.) • Prints (photo strips, etc.) • 101 - 150 guests

I thought we could have had more clear communication prior to the event. He played the wrong song after we were pronounced husband and wife. You could really hear what he was saying during the reception, but overall it was good. He provided guidance and directions for guests.

Creative Exposures's reply
Hello, Thank you for your review and taking the time to provide me with your feedback. I would like to address your concerns. I apologize for playing the wrong song when you walked out of the ceremony. Originally, when you sent the song list for the ceremony you had wanted Signed. Sealed, Delivered by Stevie Wonder. Later, in another email you had changed some songs around on the new list and wanted Ain’t no Mountain High Enough by Marvin Gaye. I had accidentally kept both print outs of the ceremony song list in your folder and grabbed the incorrect printout when DJing the ceremony. When I moved to the reception area, I had found the second printout and recognized my mistake. This error is entirely my fault and again I apologize. On May 19th you had asked in an email to setup a phone call. I replied to the email that day asking you to text me to set up that call as it is faster to text. On May 23rd you texted if we could do a call this week around 7pm. I texted back that I would be available that same evening, and we did speak that night at 7pm. There were other texts exchanged between us on May 26thand 28th. The reception area was very large and spacious in the Forney train museum, and the DJ setup was very far away from some of the further tables. When this is the case, I do have a third DJ speaker that I am able to use and I did set that up for those furthest tables. I had tested it and asked the furthest tables if they could hear my announcements, and the guests confirmed that they could clearly hear me. I do apologize if later in the evening some guests could not hear the announcements. Please let me know if there are any further questions or concerns; I would be happy to discuss this further if you would like to do so. Take care.
