- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every dog is different — and so is every client. That’s why I start every new case with a personalized, step-by-step approach focused on your specific goals and your dog’s unique needs. 1. Free Phone Consultation We’ll start with a quick call to discuss your dog, your goals, and any behavioral concerns. This helps me understand what you’re looking for and whether we’re a good fit. 2. Initial Evaluation & First Session Our first in-person session includes a full behavior and temperament evaluation, goal-setting, and hands-on training. I’ll observe your dog in their home or a familiar environment and start introducing structure right away. 3. Customized Training Plan Based on your dog’s behavior and your priorities, I’ll create a tailored training plan. Whether it’s basic obedience, reactivity, aggression, or task-specific work, we’ll set realistic milestones and adjust as needed. 4. Progressive, Real-World Training I focus on practical training that translates into everyday life — in your home, your neighborhood, or local parks. We train in real-world conditions, not just in theory. 5. Support & Follow-Through You’ll receive clear homework after each session, and I offer support between sessions for questions or concerns. My goal is to give you tools that last — not just quick fixes.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My journey into canine training and handling started with a deep respect for the working relationship between humans and dogs. I was drawn early on to the discipline, loyalty, and intelligence of working breeds — and fascinated by their ability to perform complex tasks with precision and heart. What began as a personal passion quickly grew into a profession as I immersed myself in hands-on experience with dogs of all temperaments, including high-drive working dogs, rescues with behavioral challenges, and family companions in need of basic structure
