I just finished a significant popcorn removal project in my home and I’m so glad I hired Archuleta Drywall to do the job! My newly smoothed and painted ceilings and walls are gorgeous and I’m very happy with how everything turned out! I will definitely hire them again for any future drywall work! First, we were very excited to be able start our popcorn removal project within two weeks of getting the estimate. We even decided to add wall painting last minute to the initial popcorn ceiling removal project and they were very accommodating. I’m so glad we did both the popcorn removal and wall painting at once. It was the right decision! Our house looks so clean and new with our nice freshly painted walls and smooth popcorn ceiling! Another thing I really appreciated about working with Archuleta Drywall was that they regularly checked in to make sure we were happy and that everything looked good. I was initially nervous about the ceiling texture we picked (orange peel) but they were careful to match the texture to our bathroom and it turned out perfectly! We have a very high vaulted ceiling in our living room and they handled that without any problems! It looks great! I was also impressed with the quality of their work. We had a significant crack in one of our living room walls and ceiling (likely due to our house settling). They took the time and care to patch and fill everything and it looks like new! They were also very kind and patient. When they first arrived we still had a couple of heavier pieces of furniture in the house. They helped my husband move the furniture outside and cover it. Lastly, we were thrilled with their initial estimate for our popcorn removal (which was half the cost of another similar company with less experience). The final cost of everything was exactly what they had told us from the start!

We needed popcorn ceilings removed from three rooms, retexturing of the ceilings to match ceiling texture of another room, and painting of the ceilings. In addition, the existing ceiling drywall had some water damage. Archuleta Drywall did great work on all of it, and an excellent job of matching the new ceiling textures to the old- they look identical. After the popcorn was removed, it was clear that the water damage would require replacement of some sheetrock. The amount charged for this additional work was very fair. The team was very good at communication about aspects of the job, and making suggestions, such as in the choice of paint. I highly recommend them.

This company did amazing work and were great at communicating throughout the process. They removed the popcorn texture from my ceiling on the entire 1st floor and I could not be happier. They also did a repair in the kitchen where there had been a box light and it looks perfect! I plan to have hire them again this spring for other drywall projects.

I am so happy we hired Archuleta Drywall to remove the popcorn ceiling in our front room. Sammy and his team are professional and amazing! They kept me informed about each step in the process, they were diligent in protecting my property and the clean up was exceptional. He went beyond removing and patching and took extra time to do some minor repairs of our drywall. You can tell he wants the job done right. It was a very difficult job as I have vaulted ceilings, but Sammy was prepared and I feel as if I have a new home. His work is "artistic".
