I am a professional photographer with over 10 years of experience in the industry. I primarily photograph weddings & elopements, but also have experience in corporate/event, graduation and portrait photography. I worked as the in house photographer for a photo studio for 4 years where I captured headshots and senior portraits all day, every day!

I was in the market for a professional photoshoot. I saw Sammy’s profile and I loved her style, so I reached out. I explained right off the bat that I had a unique challenge - my acupuncture clinic is located on the second floor of a building which has zero windows, which means ZERO daylight. I knew this could be quite the nightmare for an inexperienced photographer so I wanted to make this issue front and center.
Sammy gave the thumbs up - no natural light, no problem - and she swiftly set up a virtual meeting with me to make sure she had an idea of my vision and my needs as a client. Not only did she set up a Pinterest board for me to add inspo to, she’d already done her own research and provided some other ideas based on other acupuncture clinics.
The night of the photoshoot went so smoothly; she was well-prepared with her gear and her direction in helping me pose was invaluable. She provided me a “sneak peak” of some of the shots less than 24 hours later!
I 100% recommend Sammy for your business photoshoot and I would not hesitate to use her services again.

I had such a great experience shooting my modeling headshots with Sammy! She was incredibly helpful, professional, and made the whole session feel relaxed and enjoyable. We were lucky enough to come across Sammy about a year ago when planning engagement photos. From our first interaction to the photography session itself, Sammy was so warm, knowledgable and friendly. Sammy was great at giving us direction but also allowing us to interact as ourselves as she captured the moments. The photos were delivered on time and came out better than we could have ever hoped. Our dog who was in the photos with us recently passed and our engagement photos with her are now some of our most prized possessions. I am eternally grateful to Sammy for those photos of the three of us.There was no doubt in our mind that we wanted Sammy to photograph our wedding. Her perfect balance of professionalism but also ability to go with the flow was exactly what we needed for our wedding weekend. Sammy and her partner Thomas flew all the way out to California for us and did such a fantastic job of capturing photos of our weekend. Not only did they capture the perfect photos, but Sammy pulled a bug out from my dress and Thomas danced with us on the dance floor! Both did such a great job of feeling like friends to both Ben and myself as well as all of the guests. I am so blown away by their attention to detail in the planning, the photography, and the editing. I always felt like a priority to them and that our wedding mattered (which can be hard to do with a lot of clients!)If you are considering Sammy as a photographer, you should definitely work with her. I am so happy with her communication, photos and overall professionalism. I would recommend her to any friends or family, although many friends are already considering her as her work truly speaks for itself. I am already trying to think of future photoshoots to have the privilege to work with her again. Life is beautiful and these moments are so special, it's important to find someone who can capture it all, and Sammy definitely has that magic.
