My life is centered around my wife, our three daughters, photography, and travel. I've always loved exploring the world, and for nearly two decades, I've been lucky enough to document more than 760 weddings across the U.S. and abroad. My work has appeared in Vogue, Elle, GQ, Tatler, The New York Times, and others.
I photographed my first wedding in 2006 and was immediately drawn to the mix of style, emotion, and storytelling that makes every wedding unique. My earlier work in graphic design and on staff at a NYC celebrity magazine taught me how to stay calm under pressure and notice the small, meaningful moments that often matter the most, exactly what I try to bring to every wedding I photograph.
My work takes me everywhere, from coastal estates to mountain lodges, vineyards to city rooftops, courthouses to backyard celebrations. I was born in Texas, have deep family roots in North Carolina, spent years working in NYC and Los Angeles, and now split my time between the East Coast and photographing weddings throughout the Mountain West, California, the Southwest, the South, the Mid-Atlantic, New England, and the Pacific Northwest, from Denver to Austin, New York to Seattle, and everywhere in between. Wherever your wedding takes place, my goal is simple: help you feel comfortable and present so you can focus on the people you love.
The couples I work with don't want to spend their wedding day posing for hours, they want to celebrate with their family and friends. Many tell me they're camera-shy, so I focus on capturing natural moments as they happen, keeping things relaxed and unobtrusive.
I photograph weddings for couples of all backgrounds, identities, and orientations, with the same care and respect given to every celebration. I'd love to hear about yours.
