Introduction: Down Home Flowers is rooted in quality and we take pride is provided an outstanding product. We purchase only the most beautiful blooms and we take care and time in arranging. We go above and beyond to ensure the client is not just happy, but overjoyed, with their flowers. We love everything about flowers, all flowers. We own a garden business also so we enjoy growing, cutting and arranging. We started on a flower farm and have worked in a shop, so we have a lot of experience with a wide range of blooms. We love harvesting and scavenging for the out of the ordinary stems. We see flowers as the consciousness of plants and we strive to share that enthusiasm with our clients!

Looking for a florist to make the bouquets and boutineeers was TOUGH! I met with Steph and her BF casually at 1st so she could see what I was thinking for the flowers. After communicating for months we narrowed down what I wanted. I told her what my budget was and she came in BELOW it! She is more affordable then the Costco and Sam's Club quote I received. I had 1 bridal bouquet, 5 bridesmaids bouquets and 7 groomsmen bouts and 2 mother bouts). Steph is easy to work with, kind and honest. She did an absolutely amazing job. I told my friend (a wedding planner) to start recommending her ASAP. I will also recommend her to ALL of my friends! What an amazing experience working with Steph and Down Home Flowers. I tried to upload a picture of my bouquet with no luck!

Our experience with Down Home Wedding Flowers was second to none. Communication with Steph was a breeze. Steph and Dylan showed up early on the day of the wedding to make sure everything was perfect. Steph did an amazing job on our wedding flowers!! I wasn't quite sure what I wanted when we started talking, she went above and beyond to offer tons of suggestions with pictures and examples for each. She made the planning process so easy for me. On the day of our wedding she showed up and set everything on time. We got a ton of compliments on the flowers and she stayed within our budget. I truly loved everything about the flowers and the experience of working with Steph. Would recommend to anyone for any event or occasion. Thanks Steph!!

Steph did an amazing job and I couldn't have asked for more. When we met she made sure to get a thorough idea of what we wanted in terms of flowers, arrangement, and colors. She was able to show us many examples and to be very clear that her ideas matched our vision. She was also very willing to work within our budget, varying plant choices and arrangement to meet cost. We originally thought we might have to DIY some of our flowers to save money, but Steph let us know what she could do with the budget we had and came up with arrangements far more beautiful than any alternatives we could have made. She was very receptive to several changes to the order and made the whole process very easy. On the big day, as I was stressing out about everything else, a friend let me know the flowers had arrived, right on time. My stepmom went to collect them and came back with a look of awe and told me they were just beautiful. Everyone who received a bouquet or corsage/boutonniere remarked about how gorgeous the flowers were, and we continued to received compliments on them all evening. Even still, as I show pictures to people who didn't attend, many notice how great the flowers are and comment on them. Steph was incredibly easy to work with, able to do a lot with our budget, excellent at understanding the themes we wanted, and provided great results. We worked with a lot of vendors and people for this wedding, and Steph was truly one of the most professional and provided one of the best end-products for the event.

We are so happy we were able to book Down Home Flowers for our wedding. Our guests wouldn't stop talking about our awesome flowers. Stephanie was able to incorporate all the flowers I wanted and suggested other flowers that would be in season at a very affordable price. My bouquet was unique and colorful, just like I hoped. She even set up the beautiful reception flowers at a very low cost.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to start with a free consultation. That way we can be completely clear on what the bride wants and we can write a detailed bid with all the costs (including options).
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have worked with cut flowers for 5 years. We spent a few years on an organic flower farm. Here, we were not just designing but also planting, growing, and harvesting. It's amazing what you can learn from the plant the flower comes from. We have done contract work in Denver for a couple of years and also worked part time with Boulder Blooms as a designer.
