Awesome! I called John this morning because another contractor had flaked out. I was on a tight deadline to get a room ready for a new renter. WIT got someone out to install a sink and fix two toilets within 4 hours of my call. They did a great job and the price was fair. They also gave me some good advice on other issues in my home. I will definitely be hiring them again.

The tile work they did was incredible in our shower. It's beautiful and we've got so many compliments already. Loved the small touches I wouldn't have even thought of!

WIT installed and finished drywall including texturing as part of a bathroom remodel, along with installing cement board shower liner. John, the owner, was responsive to my schedule, and did a professional job at a reasonable price.

Originally, the quoted one week to finish the job. But then the weather took over!! Rain. But the crew was even at our house on days it was rainy and cold (30 degrees) working hard. They completed the job within 2 weeks (and worked on the weekends). They were great with our dogs too! Very few complaints for this company. Respectful and moderate with communication. Would defiantly reccomend!!!

My relationship with WIT construction began about a month ago, with the initial project of painting the garage and install shelving in the garage of a newly purchased home. I closed on the home at about 1 PM and the first coat of paint was completed that evening. The shelves were constructed and installed within 36 hours. I was able to move my stuff into a brightly painted space and start organizing immediately on moving in day. As moving in progressed, other projects emerged and I moved forward with WIT with each one: install a new gate in the fence, build a small platform for my small hot tub, and design and build a linen closet. All projects were completed in a timely fashion at a reasonable cost using appropriately priced materials, and at high quality. John has years of experience in construction, and no job seems too big or too small for him to address. He has saved me a ton of time during the move in phase. I will continue to use him for those important projects that come up from time to time. Honest and ethical business

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I moved to Alaska the day I graduated high school and found a job working on the Alaska pipeline. Found that I had a knack for construction and stayed with it for the next 40 years.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

The more information I have from the customer about the project the better for me. It also saves the customer money to have done some research and made decisions about what specific fixtures or colors or tiles they wish to have installed.
