- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing will vary from job to job, smaller repairs at a $40 hr., with either a trip fee, or one hour minimum charge. I would ask for the standard of at least 50% of estimate amount upfront, and material costs would be a separate cost. Larger jobs with aspects such as unforseen issues, pre-existing, or needing multiple days range Abit higher. Work with Pools, plumbing, and electrical will increase depending on the job needs. Most rates are very reasonable knowing what others charge.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Establish needed information for work desired, establish past experience with work issues, causes, remedies and current status. Note all work ,take pics. of all work before, and after, list all pre-existing conditions, establish work price by given information.
