I hit the jackpot finding Maurice! I bought a townhouse that needed some renovating. My original plan was to remove popcorn ceiling, remove wall paper, paint, remove tile floor and lay carpet, upgrade tiled fireplace and tiled window seat. I knew I would need to coordinate the different jobs, while sticking to a tight timeline of one month. I happened upon Superior Floors while looking for someone to remove tile. During our first phone call, I explained my plan and found out he could do all of my projects. I was ecstatic!! From the moment I met him, I could tell he was passionate and very knowledgeable about his job. He noticed the mismatched texture on the walls (two other painters didn't notice), gave suggestions, and was very creative in designing the fireplace. I added a few things to the project (install/wire ceiling fans, new flooring in the bathroom, upgrade interior doors) when we met and was assured they would be done in time. After they started working and I saw progress, I became excited and asked about doing a few other things that I had planned for the future during this renovation (new bathroom cabinets for both bathrooms, new countertops, new lighting fixtures, and granite countertops for the bathroom and kitchen). Though I knew I was adding more work and possibly delaying my timeline, he accepted the challenge. Maurice kept in constant contact throughout the entire project. He kept me within budget and he maintained my one month timeline, even with the added projects!! I was very lucky everything was delivered on time or early. The finished project is amazing and I love my "new" place! I have already had him back to make my laundry space more functional. He did a great job with this too! I will be hiring him again to retile the master shower and guest bath. He is personable, professional, and thorough. He does a fantastic job and does it right the first time, he does not cut corners. I really liked his excitement and design ideas throughout the project. I highly recommend Maurice with Superior Floors! It was my first experience with a contractor, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Maurice was great to Work with. Fast quote, great work and reliable. Had a small job for them but to big for me of tearing out old tile in our main bathroom and laying down new. Maurice came in and him and his crew did a wonderful job. Couldn't be happier.

Maurice and his crew just completed a 1,000 s.f. tile installation in the first floor of our townhouse. We could not be more pleased. We went with Maurice because of the depth of his experience in residential, commercial and institutional work. He moves from, but never at the expense of quality. He did this 9-day job, knowing when an additional installer or two would help and when he best left working alone. Also unlike other flooring specialists we've used, he is skilled at handling little problems you run into on a job like this He was also extremely efficient in use of tile. I seriously doubt whether there is anybody better in Northern Colorado for installing floors.

Hire him. As simple as that. There is not enough positive we can say about Maurice and our experience with him. From his professionalism to design ideas, quality of work to punctuality, and the care for us as a family, there was not a negative moment. Maurice also helped us navigate a home insurance claim. We cannot recommend Maurice highly enough - the quick answer is to use him. The long answer, about why we are so grateful we contracted with him, is below. We reached out to Maurice to give us a quote to replace our shower pan. Maurice, of the several quotes we received, was the most expensive. He was also the most thorough, detailed, and forthcoming in his estimate of services (including immediately sharing he was licensed, bonded and insured; nobody else shared that information). Others we reached out to were quick or superficial with their estimates, and offered to keep costs small by providing services that would cover up the damage. Maurice, on the other hand, spent about 45 minutes with us, sharing what was likely causing our damage (which went beyond providing any repairs that could cover up or quickly repair our failing shower pan), and shared with us what both best and worst case scenarios would be. Maurice, once the work started, uncovered a large amount of black mold, water damage, and pending electrical nightmares. He quickly stopped the work, reached out to both my husband and I, and did not continue to mitigate any damage until we were able to see for ourselves what he had uncovered and ascertain what our next steps would be. Throughout the entire time he worked with us, he garnered approval for any deviation from the plan; this happened with big issues and small. Furthermore, Maurice was on site and involved in the work every step of the way. Although our job ended up being much more involved, detailed, and costly than we had anticipated (although, admittedly, we decided to do a complete bathroom remodel), I cannot tell you how grateful I am that it was. Maurice’s in-depth work and commitment to quality uncovered serious safety hazards, including black mold and electrical issues. If we went with a contractor that promised us a cheaper cover-up, we would have never known about the damage in our bathroom that could have caused us nightmares if they went unfixed.

I don't have a standard pricing system, for the good of both the client and myself. Each project is different, I don't want to over or undercharge for each project. My goal is for us both to walk away with Superior accomplishments.

First a professional walkthrough of your project so I can understand the details you want done.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
10 years experience with several of which was in the commercial field. Currently 75% of my work is done with private residential clients.
