Heavenly Sent offered a "deep house cleaning" for $275 and promised an arrival time 10A on October 8. The deep clean was quoted for a 5 bedroom, 4 bath, 3 story house. A crew of one person arrived, 2.5 hours late after the stated arrival time. After spending 3 hours in the basement, which required the least amount of cleaning, the gentlemen cleaning informed me he was going to take a 25 minute lunch break. After an hour, he had not returned. I began texting with the person at Heavenly who informed me he was "stuck in traffic" and would be back soon. Another 30 minutes go by, he still has not returned and at this point, I tell them to not return as it's approx. 5:30, and the cleaning should long since been done. I agree to reschedule for today at 9A and request a two person crew, which they confirm (see texts). At 9A today, I text as no one has arrived. I'm told the two person crew is delayed and will now be here at 12. At noon I text, they can't contact the new crew, and am told they will be here at 2P. Unacceptable, I tell them to cancel at which point they demand payment. When I refuse, the person in text immediately threatens to call the police (see texts). The person insists 35% of the job was done...NOPE! That would imply at least one floor was completely finished which is absolutely not the case. I offer 15% of the $275 quoted fee for a total of $42. I am now fearful of this company and its employees because of the aggressive / threatening nature in dispute resolution, will be reporting them to Thumbtack, and the Better Business Bureau.
