Juan (owner) and Kevin (lead painter) at Super Painters were amazing from start to finish. They did drywall work and painted the whole house. The level of communication and knowledge that Juan had was far beyond any of the people behind the other bids I received. Juan was not much more expensive either. I'm really glad I spent a little more because I felt like I got a whole lot more for it. When I first read through the other reviews for Juan, I was surprised that they were all 5 stars for 80+ reviews. I noticed there's a recent 1 star review from someone, but that person didn't even hire Juan. They left him a 1 star review because they didn't like his bid? Seems wrong to give someone a 1 star review who you didn't even hire. Some people I guess don't have much integrity. Back to the project, during Juan's evaluation he was exceptionally thorough going through every room and using a flashlight to show all and any defects so I have all the information to make decisions needed to make sure I'm happy with the end result and my expectations are clear and met. He also went through all the details with me of every step in the process to make sure I understood all the options and did various trials for me to see in person before deciding. I'm not use to this level of service with a contractor. It's rare. I had drywall areas that needed to be fixed and some other areas that needed to be torn down and redone. Juan personally rebuilt an area that was tricky and did a perfect job. Kevin fixed several ceilings to a smooth finish. They both worked on it much harder than I expected and achieved stellar results beyond my expectations. Kevin, the lead painter was excellent. Super friendly like Juan, and a hard worker, and you can tell he's very concerned about the quality and spends the extra time needed. They really know what they are doing. I have my in-laws visiting who have done a lot of painting and to their surprise they keep saying that they can't find any defects in the painting. The level of quality that Kevin and his helper put into the job is really amazing. Juan was extremely responsive throughout the project and always present on short notice when needed. He's very good at discussing complex details and making sure I have a clear understanding of whatever it is we're talking about. Kevin and his worker worked tirelessly for 6+ days a week, 8+ hours a day. There was no time wasted on this project, in fact they worked far above a normal work week allowing us to move in early. Contractors in general seem great in the beginning when promising quality and then let you down when actually doing the work. This is the first time I was more impressed with the work than what I expected. Don't hesitate to hire Super Painters. Their name is on point.
