I also handle detailed trim and molding work such as doors, crown molding, baseboards, window sills and casing, kitchen cabinet installation, and stair rails. I’m also available for select handyman services.

The customcabinets by Brian have transformed our space. We are beyond satisfied with the final project. He made sure it was as perfect as possible by coming by for touch ups after we had a chance to sit with it.
From the onset Brian collaborated on our idea and provided realistic options. He set expectations on budget and timeline and met both. We interviewed three carpenters and are so happy with our choice. If/when we dream up another custom piece we’ll work with Brian to make it a reality.

Brian painted and installed new baseboards, shoe molding, and door casings for me. He was on time, did a good job with everything, and was able to complete the job quickly. He was pleasant and nice to our dog. I would hire him again for carpentry/wood working jobs.

Baseline Woodworks responded to my request very quickly. I needed kitchen cabinet crown molding and a wood wrap-around to a kitchen island, replacing drywall. I also wanted a couple of the kitchen cabinet doors routed for glass rather than the original standard solid wood. Brian set a time, came out and measured, and emailed me a reasonable quote in a timely manner. We set a time that fit my schedule and he did the install. He was very efficient, doing some of the work in his shop so that there was less time on site. Everything was completed in less than a day. He even color-matched existing paint perfectly.
It was wonderful and refreshing to have someone who was so professional and easy to work with and who showed up when scheduled, and did excellent work! I will be keeping Brian's information for future work. I would highly recommend Brian at Baseline Woodworks!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is customized to your needs. I can include things like caulking, painting, stain and lacquer, and drywall repair if needed.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will come to your house to meet with you and discuss your space and your ideas. Then I can make a 3D rendering of your ideas. We can then make any adjustments to ensure you get exactly what you want. I build everything at my shop so that installation time in your home is minimized (typically only a day or two). Whether you have an idea in mind or you want design consultation, I'm confident you'll love the finished product.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would advise customers looking to hire someone to look at reviews and photos of past projects. It would not be wrong to expect drawings or a rendering of some sort before starting a build. A carpenter who has been doing this for a long time will draw everything out before starting anything.
