I do all types of carpentry work from built-ins, lockers, trim, hardwood flooring to custom cabinets, restoration, sliding barn doors & more. I treat each client how I'd want to be treated, with honesty & respect. I put myself in their shoes & know inviting someone into your home is a very personal experience, something I don't take lightly. I love that 99% of my work is referral based. I love being creative & have the ability to adapt as a project progresses. I like being able to see what I've been able to accomplish at the end of each day. It's a great feeling to start with an initial idea, maybe a scribble on paper. Then watch the project unfold into something I'm proud to put my name on. I take pride in my work & genuinely care about what my clients think. I love helping their ideas become reality.

KC and his team were great to work with. Very professional, highly responsive, and high quality work. They completed all the trim work in my kitchen, built a cabinet, and installed base boards. I will use Heartwood again.

We feel very fortunate to have found KC and Heartwood Carpentry. He was able to provide carpentry services to finish a basement renovation project which included finishing doorways, hanging doors, installing custom door jambs and trim around doors and windows. We were impressed by his ability to promptly and professionally provide extremely high quality work at reasonable prices. We have decided to continue to work with Heartwood Carpentry for construction of custom built in shelving and cabinets. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a skilled carpenter able to be adaptable to any job.

Professional, reasonably priced, quality work! We love the custom shelving and cabinetry that KC built and installed in our mud room. It fits perfectly in the area and is exactly the type of storage we wanted. We would definitely use Heartwood Carpentry again.

We worked with KC last fall (I know-this review is so late, so sorry!) to get some built-in bookshelves done as well as a mudroom hall tree. KC, right off the bat, was easy to work with and worked hard to ensure that we were happy with our project from beginning to end. He provided wood and finish samples so we could inspect the quality of materials before getting started. And, per our request, he was able to source some reclaimed material for our hall tree. He and his team were professional, friendly and courteous - even being patient and kind with our curious young child who was interested in everything they did. We were impressed with the care, dedication and pride they showed in doing the work. Whether it was the care and precision with which they built, handled and installed the components, the attention and long hours put into the onsite sanding and finishing, or the care put into the daily job site clean up, we were always made to feel that our project was important to them and that they understood its importance to us. KC even made one last visit to the house once the work was complete to do a final inspection and thanked us for our business. The work KC did for us is beautiful and we are extremely happy with it! He was extremely fair in his pricing and we feel that the work added great value to our home. We would absolutely recommend KC and his company and would gladly hire him again for future projects!
