Uriel and his team did an excellent job with my interior painting project. I was especially impressed with his responsiveness and willingness to get started immediately. He showed up on a Sunday, gave me an estimate on the spot and his team showed up first thing on Monday morning to start the painting job. He also texted me at the end of each day and provided an update on status of the project. It's rare these days to find a contractor that is focused on doing a good job and exceeded customer expectations. I would highly recommend Uriel for future painting projects.
I was thoroughly impressed with the work that Bobby and his crew did for me. I had concrete poured for a second driveway, a side walkway around my house, an extended patio and two steps in the garage put in. Bobby provided and excellent and detailed bid, which was very reasonably priced. I obtained several bids and had a set of requirements for our concrete specs and the level professionalism & skill of our hired contractor, Bobby's company met all of these expectations from the get-go. I asked a lot of questions, and Bobby was great about hearing me out, listening and providing his recommendations. From all the contractors I saw, A3 Custom Concrete was the best and Bobby knew what he was doing. For the actual work, Bobby promised a high quality standard for his work and that of his staff. We had some bad weather earlier in the week and Bobby made sure to do the work on a day that was conducive to the job. He made sure to go over the work with me prior to getting started to confirm my expectations and the extent of the work. From there, his crew went right to work at prepping the worksite, making sure everything was level, well-formed, compacted and had appropriate the amount of base and rebar reinforcement. He followed up the second day with pouring concrete and I have to tell you the concrete was exceptionally poured and the edging was properly finished to an even standard. A previous contractor who did concrete work at our place last year did a horrible job at pouring and had an uneven thickness of concrete and you could see exposed edges. But, with Bobby's work you could easily see how well the work was done and how concrete SHOULD be poured. I had concerns about drainage around my house, so to resolve this, Bobby rerouted gutters under my walkway and made sure water would drain away from the house. Bobby was on-site throughout the job to oversee the project and his crew did a great job of cleaning up and finishing on time. I was SO happy with the completed work, I even gave his contact info to friends and family. My neighbors complemented the work repeatedly! I would use his company again and even encourage others to do so. His price is really unbeatable, all while maintaining a high level of quality and workmanship.
Joe and his crew were prompt and professional. They did what they promised, when they promised it, and the new driveway looks great! Joe's bid was among the lowest we received out of 6 bids, and he and his crew performed work and used materials that other contractors charged extra for, like #4 rebar and roadbase to correctly slope for water runoff. Of course with concrete work, time will tell. The one year warranty gives peace of mind. I feel that they know what they are doing and would highly recommend Complete Concrete!
Kelly was great! Came out very quickly to give us an estimate and was able to have the work completed within about a week of our initial meeting. We will be calling Kelly for any future masonry work we need. Highly recommend!
It isn't easy trying to choose which construction or roofing company to use when you suddenly find yourself in that 'hurry up or else' situation of needing to replace the roof NOW. After receiving several estimates - and dealing with the 'maybe I can get to it next week' excuses - one company stood out among the rest - Mountaintop Construction. Steve Petersen came to my home in Bellvue, Colorado, within 24-48 hours, which was over 100 miles from his location. He explained to me in simple terms why the shingles looked the way they did, which actually helped save me a ton of money after advising me to have the insurance company come take a look. The job was completed by a friendly crew - and by Steve himself - within a weeks' time. The county came out for the final inspection and the roof passed with no problems. The shingles look beautiful! I would recommend this company and Steve Petersen's crew without hesitation.
Kathryn's crew poured a 10'x33' driveway that included moving river rock to another landscaped area on the property. The day the prep work was to be done wasn't forecasted properly and the "pour" had to be delayed. They did the prep work and then the rain came. She quickly called in another crew to install heat blankets to keep the excavated area free of excess water and from rusting the new rebar. We had to wait 1 week for the pour, which included a few snow days. I am thankful Kathryn acted fast and was able to install these blankets before the rain, and was able to keep them on the site. I'm sure had I selected a contractor that was "cheaper" I would have had an excavated area that got wet and rusted the rebar. Kathryn is great and professional and good customer service. When it was all said and done, we paid no more than her original estimate and although the weather issue was not due to her planning (I approved the install date too), she sent us fruit basket for our troubles. Since then I have recommended her to others and her crew is going to do some stamped concrete for me in my backyard in June.
We hired Stucco and Stone Masons, via Thumbtack. They had good recommendations, were very prompt in their response, came to our home for a quote within 2 days, and could start right away. Work included: 1) Floor leveling (our floors were very uneven!) 2) Tile installation 1100 sq. ft (12X12 travertine squares, arabesque travertine tile, 3X5ft subway tile shower + mosaic travertine shower floor tiles) 3) Plaster wall repair in our basement (7 exterior walls) To give you an idea of the VALUE this company brought to our renovation: We had received four quotes JUST for the tile installation that were between $13,000-$15,000, which did *not* include floor leveling or plaster wall repairs! These companies/individuals were booked for months in advance and their turnaround for completion would have been 4-6 weeks. This would have severely delayed our project. Filiberto (goes by Beto) and his two sons were very friendly and honest. They quoted us $8,000 for #1-3 work above, and said they would be finished within 3 weeks. They WOULD have been finished before that 3-week timeframe had we not miscalculated the amount of tile they would need for the bathroom floor. They were very understanding of our mistake and returned as soon as the rest of the tile arrived to finish the project. Beto’s crew of four men arrived every day around 9am, and worked around the clock - even SATURDAYS! They were extremely courteous, professional and hard working. Some days they did not leave until 8pm! I have never met such a dedicated, hard-working group of people!! If we had questions/concerns, they were very open to resolving the matter quickly. We are incredibly pleased with their work. Our basement looks AMAZING!! The sand colored tile and the plaster wall repairs has really brightened the space. We are planning to hire them again to repave our driveway and front sidewalk/steps in the spring. We hope you consider them for your future concrete, plaster and or tile projects!
Ken with In the Mix did a great job with our project. I would definitely use him again. Thanks Ken!
Hugh did an amazing job. I hired him to finish a job started by another contractor and never finished. He finished the project in one day and it looks better than I ever dreamed possible. I highly recommend this company and Hugh for any of your concrete needs.
Rodney did a great job on the project. Things were clearly communicated and there were no hidden fees or costs. When the weather caused a delay of the project he kept us up to date and was open to different options and timing. Great contractor, quality work and great to work with. Highly recommend driveways4less.
The guys did a great job! We felt very taken care of despite the job being just a small bathroom remodel. They even assisted with getting our granite counter tops picked up and fabricated to accelerate the project schedule. Our facilities were down a matter of days, not weeks like the other contractors I interviewed had projected. Highly recommended!
I had shopped quotes previously via friend recommendations and most contractors insisted on seeing the scope before giving an estimate, and I was continually getting quoted higher ( often extremely higher) than my friends because I can only guess , I live in an area with higher than average housing prices and it is thus assumed that I can somehow afford to pay much more? 4U2 were the first if many to just give me an honest estimate range for labor and materials without knowing my zip code. Once we hired them, Eric kept me up to date every step of the way. He suggested we keep the front lighter to meld with the brick etc. Raul impressed me with his "eye" for design and function. I wanted a, he suggested b. and x and y. Eric translated. We trusted. It turned out beautifully! They had it done in under three days. I have had several other contractors to do additional work out here since they installed this and they have all asked for their names as they were so impressed by the work. Negatives? We had electrical and gas lines marked by city before they arrived. They inadvertently and inevitably pierced both our sprinkler and cable lines when digging and placing stakes. We hadn't contracted with them not to do so, so we just fixed them. I imagine we maybe could have called them back to fix it, but I pretty much wrote that off as " we paid them to install the concrete, not to psychically figure out where Comcast and whomever, whenever put the sprinklers"?
Pro Form Concrete is the only concrete contractor I will call in the future. They are fantastic. Curtis spent an hour with me on the bid. He was so detail-oriented - way more than any other contractor I'd ever met with, I knew this job would be done very well to a 't' and it was. His crew is excellent. Pedro and his guys went over and beyond to make sure I was completely happy. Pro Form installed a concrete basketball half-court in my backyard and Curtis bothered to look up the exact dimensions of an NCAA/High School court (in picture) and call the hoop manufacturing company to get the exact measurements for how far the rim would be from the pole so when they saw-cut the concrete, they'd do 15 feet out from the edge of the rim, to make it easier for me to paint the free throw line. Over and beyond. Call this company, please. You will not be disappointed.
We recently hired Steve to make a custom sectional grill around our existing grill. He got back to my inquiry very quickly and came by our house for a free assessment within a couple of days. He did an exceptional job on the project and got started immediately as we had a tight deadline for a housewarming party. He was very professional and the finished product is beautiful and exactly what we had envisioned. We are very happy with his services. I would definitely recommend him to others for your masonry needs! Definitely give him a call for a fast affordable and professional customer experience!
L&L did a great job of tearing out the old vinyl tiles and then refinishing the cement floors with concrete paint. They also did a good job of painting our entire basement apartment. They were able to quickly work us into their schedule and the work was done exactly in the time frame they gave us. They also installed windows, poured new concrete and repaired a bathroom shower stall. It was great to have one company that could address all of our many needs.
