Monty Powers metal fabrication and blacksmithing. I’ve got forty years experience in metal fabrication. I’ve spent most of my life working for other people as well as doing my own work for my clients . I’m at a point in my life where I need to work for myself exclusively. I have had work in several publications. I currently have a small amount of work but I’m looking to expand. I do railings fences and gates. I do repairs. I can weld stainless . I can do historical restoration using traditional methods. I can mimic existing iron work. I do artwork and yard art. Branding irons flowers. I do some sheet metal work. I have equipment to handle most site work. However I cannot weld on light gauge Aluminum such as Ford aluminum truck beds and bodies. I work out of a small shop but I can enlist help with larger jobs. I do most of my rendering on sketchup or paper. I can work with other people’s drawings from other cad platforms. I have references upon request. I’m not the cheapest or fastest but I get the work done.
