Scott did a great job and really helped pull out a smile that isn't always there. I will be using him again for some other business shots and my wife is now wanting family pictures done as well.

Scott took very professional photos of our dance couples at our annual Valentine's ballroom dance. He was very easy to work with and professional from start to end. I highly recommend Scott for your events!

About this pro

I've been shooting since the 1980's, and that experience allows me to work and respond quickly in a variety of situations. Having learned with 35mm film cameras, developing negatives and prints, I have an appreciation for the art of photography and using the camera as a tool. I also frequently work with another photographer from MirrorsEdgePhotography.com and can bring her in for larger shoots. I highly enjoy working with clients and seeing their smiles when they receive finished photos. I also enjoy the various aspects of capturing the light, either dramatic, natural lighting or imported light in the studio.

    Q & A

    • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Detailed rate information for various types of shoots are on my website. I normally charge $100 per hour, whether on-site or in my studio, plus minimal travel expenses outside of the Denver area.
    • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every customer is unique, so I don't try to fit any customer into a category. The most important aspect to me is finding out what they expect from their photos. With wedding clients it really helps to get to know their personalities somewhat, so I can tailor my work to them.
    • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I had several photography and art classes in school, was mentored in 35mm film photography and darkroom negative/print processing in college.
Coverage Area for Scott Smith Photography is about 150+ miles of Commerce City, CO.
