Hi there! I am a professional portrait and lifestyle photographer based in San Diego, CA. The most important part of creating a fantastic finished product comes down to one word: communication! From before the shoot we will brainstorm on how we can make your shoot as meaningful as possible. The details matter - location, clothing, and time of day mean the world. I create timeless images with bold color, light, and strong concepts, usually with elements of nature. The experience with our proposal session went incredibly well. Our shoot was a surprise proposal that was exactly what we had hoped for. Communication in giving an informative description of what I wanted for the shoot with David was one of the best parts for me. Being able to brainstorm and try different things was awesome. Additionally, the style of the photos was exactly what we were looking for, capturing the special moment and the portrait session that followed. There is so much that I want to say about my experience with David. First I was really nervous because I’ve never have hired a photographer from an application, also being from a different state was a bit nerve wrecking. The photo session I wanted was so special to me because I’ve never had family portraits taken before. I am beyond pleased with David. Not only did he help me With picking the perfect location, but he was on time, and has an amazing personality. He made us feel really comfortable. The weather was not what we anticipated, it was cold, windy, my eyes wouldn’t stop watering, but you can’t even tell, he had a way of making us forget about it. It was a great experience working with David. He was prompt and well experienced. I hired him for a surprise proposal. He gave me a recommendation on where to go, along with where to stand, and we did a quick 15 minute session after the proposal. If you are looking for a photographer in San Diego, don't overthink it. We couldn't have been happier with our 1yr wedding anniversary photo session with David! He handled our last minute planning and out of town naivety with ease by suggesting a perfect meeting location and beautiful area for our session right near our hotel.
