Marcus was absolutely AMAZING! As a paralegal, I encounter process servers and their companies constantly and, for the most part, am never very impressed. Service turnaround times take, on average two weeks, and their professionalism is less than desirable. I recently had a personal project (process service of court documents in my own personal matter) and, given the experiences I’ve had with the contracted companies used in my line of work, I decided to look elsewhere — that’s when I came across Black Cat Defense here on Thumbtack. My initial message to the professionals here explained how my situation could turn into being difficult, involving someone who may attempt to avoid service. Not only was Marcus the first one to message me back - within mere minutes - but he also had service completed within 24 hours and with NO issues whatsoever! He was prompt, listened to / took into consideration the information I provided, and maintained communication throughout the entire process with the simplicity and quickness of a text message! He even provided additional documentation beyond his report (at my request) to file with the court; he did not charge me for the addition, nor did he scoff at or decline my request. He is amazing and has definitely become my first go-to for anything I may need (myself/personally) in the future, and I will definitely be recommending him to my colleagues for their professional jobs, too!
