Sarah worked with my son who is in second grade and had transitioned from a Montessori program to a traditional public school curriculum. He was behind on his reading, spelling and comprehension. Sarah worked with him on sight words and gave us easy materials to practice with him. She gave him more confidence in his reading and reassured us of his growth and progress. She was also able to make it fun for the full hour and hold his attention (not easy for a 7 year old). We did 4 sessions and I definitely noticed a difference and my son was always excited and willing to do learning time with Sarah. We will probably work with her again as he transitions to third grade to make sure he stays on track.

Sarah has been such a delight to work with. Our 5 year old son gets very excited to see her and enjoys his time with her, which shows that she really makes learning fun! His literacy skills have greatly increased and Sarah does a great job of integrating what he is working on at school. Overall a very positive experience!

Sarah is an amazing educator and wonderful with our two boys. She really has fun with the kids and enthusiastically encourages the learning process. We’ve used Watering Can for over 6 private sessions with the kids, and are thrilled with the progress. We will continue to use her!

I attempted to work with this company twice. The first session was canceled because the tutor had health issues. The next session, she emailed approximately one hour before the session began and canceled again. The second session was canceled despite being confirmed the previous afternoon.
