FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
We worked with small businesses under a larger company, but we were only able to consult rather than implement. It was frustrating to advise independently owned and operated businesses on how SEO worked just to leave them overwhelmed. We got into this work with the intent of not only educating our small business clients but to also implement as well.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We do a variety of online marketing including market research, copywriting, websites, digital media, video production and editing, logo and business design, SEO, and online advertising. We have also helped clients develop new streams of revenue by evaluating their current business capabilities and customer needs.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask for a few samples of work and pay attention not only to the end quality of the project but how the consultant speaks with you. A good consultant will be curious and ask you to think deeper about the project you are wishing for them to work on. This helps the consultant get a better understanding of what you are looking for and they are looking to provide something beyond what you were initially expecting. Client and provider chemistry is important. Yeah, we know this isn't online dating, but you want to enjoy the person you are dealing with on the other end. Also understand that anyone who promises they know everything, probably doesn't. It shows that they can lie. A good consultant will admit that sometimes bumps in the road happen, but that they have always been able to handle a situation and figure out a solution without added costs to the project.
