I assess my clients' Spanish abilities before we begin our lessons. I am a good listener and I ask my clients what they would like to learn and plan lessons accordingly so that they can learn something useful right away.
Lots of people want to learn Spanish from a computer program or by listening to CD's. The struggle with that strategy is that those programs may move too fast or too slow for you, and you don't have anyone to ask if you have a question.

I enjoy planning lessons that will be useful for my clients. I like to think up interactive activities and games so that we can practice some new structures and vocabulary. I also like meeting with my clients and watching their progress as they learn more.

Dee has been an excellent Spanish teacher who has helped me refresh my Beginning and Intermediate Spanish. I needed a customized lesson plan that focused on my weakness in the language instead of a broad generalized lesson, and Dee was able to hone in on the aspects I needed to improve upon - primarily listening to and writing in Spanish.
