FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The final cost may vary depending on additional schedules and worksheets required. Generally, the range is between $150-$300.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Even before COVID, we were running the show remotely. There is an office available for you to drop off your documents if preferred, but the actual preparation of returns is done entirely remote. Typically, you will upload your documents to a secure portal. We will collaborate to ensure that we have all of the necessary information, and I will prepare the rough drafts. Then, you will receive copies for review before submission. Tax preparation costs are generally due at the time of preparation and finalizing of the returns.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been preparing tax returns for 16 years. It is imperative and required to complete at least 25 hours of continuing education annually. In addition, I participate in the IRS' Annual Filing Season Program and have an active PTIN.
