Hi! I'm Michaela and love sharing my passion for music through teaching! I believe learning an instrument can be extremely rewarding and fun, as well as an inspirational vehicle for developing awareness, creativity, and confidence. I teach all levels beg-advanced, age 5-adult. I am a professional violinist performer, and have two degrees in Violin Performance. Not want to travel for lessons? No problem, I also teach over zoom! Whether it be classical, pop, folk, soundtrack, or more, I look forward to being a part of your musical journey!

I can't say enough positive things about Michaela, truly! We have taken violin lessons from her for several years now, and she is not only interested in the students from a professional/technical perspective, but gets to know them personally, building a strong rapport with the student, and instilling confidence and trust with the student. Her technical skills are incredible, and to watch her teach my daughter and pass on her skills is something I find simply invaluable. She has been very responsive with any questions or schedule changes, is flexible and understanding, and takes a great interest in the student's progress toward goals and future desires. She has been amazing, and we would recommend her to anyone seeking lessons!

I started taking Violin lessons from Michaela as a novice, with no prior knowledge of music. Michaela is a fantastic teacher who taught me the fundamentals well and got me started on a lifelong dream, to be able to play the Violin. Her patience, deep knowledge and a teaching style, tailored for each individual student's learning style and pace, makes her a great teacher for all levels and learning abilities. After more than seven years, I am still very much enjoying learning the Violin from Michaela!
