- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I'm new on Thumbtack but not new to writing. Happy to offer discounts as I build my client list here! Last minute needs? I can help! I charge a fee for this service based on the type/level of work and turnaround time. You can also check out my software, Livelipath (livelipath.com), and get something ready in a jiffy that is tailored for your position of choice.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with a deep dive session in-person, over the phone or virtually to gain insights that enable me to build more result-focused content. I also send a customized question set to my customers ahead of time to help with brainstorming before our session. Once the deep dive is complete, I start transforming your resume focusing on adding relevant, impactful content in a clean and concise fashion. I target your resume and cover letter to the job(s) you are excited about. Your resume and cover letter will share the same clean heading and style so they look clean. The formats are ATS-friendly (in non-recruiter speak, that means it works well in our software) and score compliments even during interviews. Resume tailoring is key when going after specific job listings! I help you keyword optimize your resume through skills and phrases to boost your ranking on your online job applications. Once your resume is ready to go, I share it with you and offer two free rounds of revisions. I want you to look and feel good!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a former recruiter working for 7+ years at a Fortune 500 HR company, I've screened thousands of resumes and revitalized hundreds. I know exactly how to zero-in on the experience that recruiters want to see. I've been trained in professional resume writing through the Professional Association of Resume Writers (PARW). Over the past 4 years, I've started two companies, Career Muse and LiveliPath, focused on resume and cover letter writing. On the marketing and design side, I completed Udacity's Nanodegree programs for Digital Marketing and Design Sprints.
